[ MRI DEVELOPPEMENT ] - Marion Tardieu

photo_MT

PhD student in Physics at the Medical Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Multi-Modalities Laboratory, (IR4M, CNRS, University Paris-Sud, www.ir4m.u-psud.fr), Marion Tardieu develops magnetic resonance elastography. This new modality allows studying the mechanical properties from the cell to a human organ, following their evolution and characterizing the diseases that alter them. She especially works on the viscoelastic changes of the human brain with respect to aging. Opening the research process and scientific results of ongoing studies is part of her PhD work. She develops interfaces for sensors and supports here an MRI workshop for the general audience.
